Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited (GTR) has achieved a significant milestone after receiving official approval and certification from the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), enabling the company to export its tyre products to member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The development was announced through a material information disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on August 3, 2026.

The newly obtained GSO certification allows Ghandhara Tyre to market and export its tyre products to Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Meeting GSO standards is a key requirement for companies seeking access to these regional markets, as the certification confirms compliance with internationally recognized quality and safety standards.

According to the company, the certification represents an important step in its long-term growth strategy. By gaining access to the Gulf region, Ghandhara Tyre aims to diversify its export portfolio, explore new international business opportunities, and strengthen its position in the global tyre industry.

The company further emphasized that it remains committed to enhancing its international footprint while maintaining high product quality in accordance with global standards. The achievement is expected to support Ghandhara Tyre’s export-driven growth and improve its competitiveness in overseas markets.

The Gulf region has long been viewed as an attractive market for Pakistani manufacturers due to its growing demand for automotive products and strong trade links with Pakistan. With GSO certification now in place, Ghandhara Tyre is well positioned to capitalize on new business opportunities across the GCC while reinforcing its reputation as a quality tyre manufacturer in international markets.
