Karachi: Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that its manufacturing plant will undergo a scheduled maintenance shutdown beginning April 28, 2026, and continuing until May 18, 2026. The announcement was made through a material information notice submitted in accordance with the Securities Act, 2015, and the PSX Rule Book.

According to the company, the maintenance activity is part of its planned operational schedule and is aimed at ensuring the plant continues to operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Such periodic shutdowns are a standard practice in the chemical manufacturing industry, allowing companies to inspect equipment, carry out necessary repairs, and improve operational performance.
