Lahore, August 18, 2026: Avanceon Limited (PSX: AVN) has secured orders worth US$6.3 million for its Fuel Retail Business from some of the largest Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in Pakistan, marking another significant step in the company’s expansion in the country’s fuel retail automation market.
According to a company announcement dated August 17, the projects will focus on improving efficiency, safety, monitoring and control across fuelling operations. Avanceon said the new orders further strengthen its position as a technology partner for automation, Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems and digitalization in the downstream energy sector.
Growing demand for fuel retail automation
Pakistan’s fuel retail sector has more than 10,000 fuel stations nationwide, while petroleum demand is estimated by the company to be growing by approximately 10–20% year-on-year. As oil marketing companies increasingly adopt digital systems, demand is rising for accurate fuel measurement, real-time monitoring, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
This shift toward digitalization is creating opportunities for technology providers capable of connecting fuel stations with centralized monitoring and management systems. Avanceon believes the sector is moving toward greater standardization, transparency and connected fuel management.
Avanceon expands its market position
The company said it has five years of specialized experience in fuel retail automation, ATG and digitalization. During 2026, Avanceon reported that it had deployed its solutions at more than 1,500 sites nationwide and captured over 80% of the automated fuel pump market during FY2026.
With automation penetration still having considerable room to expand across Pakistan’s more than 10,000 fuel stations, the company sees further opportunities through new installations, system upgrades, regulatory compliance solutions, remote monitoring and digital fuel management.
The expanding installed base could also provide Avanceon with recurring revenue opportunities through preventive and corrective maintenance, software, technical support and system upgrades.
What the new projects will deliver
The scope of the newly secured projects includes several key components designed to improve the management of fuel stations. These include:
- Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG)
- Fuel dispenser automation
- Compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements
- Centralized head-office visibility and control
- Real-time pricing and inventory management
These systems are intended to give OMCs better visibility over fuel inventories and station operations while supporting more data-driven decision-making.
Positive outlook for Avanceon
The US$6.3 million order win adds to Avanceon’s growing presence in Pakistan’s fuel retail technology market. The company expects its established relationships with OMCs, existing installed base and automation expertise to support continued expansion as fuel retailers modernize their operations.
Avanceon said the projects provide a pathway for a positive impact on the Group’s business and shareholders.
The company has not disclosed the names of the customers or specific project details, citing client confidentiality.
Overall, the latest order win highlights the increasing role of automation and digital technology in Pakistan’s fuel retail industry and strengthens Avanceon’s position to benefit from the sector’s ongoing modernization.
