Karachi, August 20, 2026: Globe Residency REIT has reported a profit after taxation of Rs578.18 million for the year ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs539.23 million in the previous year, reflecting an increase of around 7.2%.
According to the financial results announced by Arif Habib Dolmen REIT Management Limited, the REIT recorded revenue of Rs4.80 billion during the year, substantially higher than Rs2.63 billion reported in 2025. Gross profit rose to Rs736.51 million from Rs674.50 million, while net operating income increased to Rs587.73 million from Rs529.84 million.
The REIT’s earnings were also supported by other income of Rs59.53 million, although this was lower than Rs72.83 million recorded a year earlier. After accounting for management and other related expenses, credit loss allowance and taxation, profit before tax stood at Rs583.49 million, compared with Rs544.74 million in 2025.
Earnings per unit increased to Rs4.13 from Rs3.85, indicating a modest improvement in profitability on a per-unit basis.
Final Cash Dividend of Rs4 Per Unit
The Board of Directors has approved and declared a final cash dividend of Rs4.00 per unit, equivalent to 40% of the unit’s face value. No bonus shares, right shares, other entitlements or price-sensitive corporate actions were announced.
The recommended dividend will be paid to unit holders whose names appear in the register on October 5, 2026. The share transfer books will remain closed from October 6 to October 8, 2026, both days inclusive.
The dividend represents an increase from the Rs3.50 per unit final dividend declared for the previous financial year.
Stronger Balance Sheet and Cash Position
Globe Residency REIT’s total assets increased to Rs6.84 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs5.62 billion a year earlier. The unit holders’ fund rose to Rs2.07 billion from Rs1.98 billion.
The REIT’s net asset value per unit also improved to Rs14.78, compared with Rs14.15 at the end of June 2025.
Cash and cash equivalents strengthened considerably during the year, reaching Rs249.67 million at June 30, 2026, compared with Rs62.54 million in the previous year. The statement of cash flows shows that operating activities generated net cash of Rs447.64 million, reversing the Rs860.33 million net cash outflow recorded in 2025.
Outlook
The latest results indicate that Globe Residency REIT maintained profitability while significantly increasing revenue and strengthening its cash position. The higher dividend and improvement in earnings per unit also provide a positive signal for unit holders.
The REIT’s annual report for the year ended June 30, 2026, will be transmitted through PUCARS within the specified timeframe. The financial statements and dividend announcement were submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on August 20, 2026.
