The improvement in profitability was also reflected in earnings per share. Basic and diluted earnings per share rose to Rs2.28, compared with Rs1.95 in the first quarter of 2025.

The financial statements show that the company continued to generate operating activity, although cash flows remained under pressure. Net cash used in operating activities stood at Rs84.1 million, while net cash used in investing activities was approximately Rs80.0 million, largely reflecting fixed capital expenditure. Cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs230.5 million at the end of the quarter, compared with Rs331.7 million at the end of March 2025.

KSB Pumps also reported total equity and reserves of approximately Rs4.257 billion as of March 31, 2026, compared with Rs4.186 billion at December 31, 2025.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company said its Board of Directors approved the condensed interim financial statements for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The board declared no interim cash dividend, bonus shares, rights shares or other corporate action for the quarter.

Overall, KSB Pumps’ first-quarter results point to a positive start to the year, with double-digit growth in sales and profit and an improvement in per-share earnings. The stronger bottom-line performance will be an important factor for investors as the company progresses through the remaining quarters of 2026.
