Pakistan PVC Denies Undisclosed Factors Behind Recent Share Price Fluctuations
Islamabad, September 8, 2026: Pakistan PVC Limited (PPVC) has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that it is not aware of any material factor, development, or undisclosed information that could have contributed to the recent unusual movement in the company’s share price and trading volume.
In a letter dated September 7, 2026, addressed to the Unit Head of Listed Companies Compliance at PSX, the company said that, to the best of its knowledge, there were no material developments or undisclosed matters that could reasonably be expected to have influenced the recent fluctuations in its shares.
Pakistan PVC added that, based on the circumstances, it did not consider any disclosure to be required under the applicable regulations.
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to meeting its disclosure obligations and said it would promptly disclose any material or price-sensitive information that could affect the trading price or volume of its shares. It stated that this commitment is in line with the Securities Act, 2015 and PSX Regulations.
Against the backdrop of the unusual market activity, Pakistan PVC has requested the stock exchange to investigate the movement in PPVC shares and share its findings with the company. It also requested that TRE Certificate Holders of the exchange be informed accordingly.
The company reiterated that it is fully cognizant of its disclosure responsibilities under applicable laws and regulations and will continue to comply with them.
The development places the focus on the PSX’s review of the unusual trading activity, while Pakistan PVC maintains that it has no known undisclosed corporate development responsible for the recent movement in its shares.
