OLP Modaraba (formerly ORIX Modaraba) has announced a final cash dividend of Rs2.50 per certificate, equivalent to 25%, for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, while reporting a profit after tax of Rs160.7 million.

OLP Modaraba has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, along with a final cash dividend for certificate holders. The company disclosed the results to the Pakistan Stock Exchange following approval by the Board of Directors of OLP Services Pakistan (Private) Limited, the management company of OLP Modaraba.

Profit remains positive despite year-on-year decline

According to the financial statements, OLP Modaraba posted a profit after taxation of Rs160.705 million during FY2026, compared with Rs174.077 million in the previous financial year. This represents a decline of approximately 7.7% year on year.

The company’s profit before income tax stood at Rs242.520 million, compared with Rs248.452 million in FY2025. Earnings per certificate also declined, with basic and diluted EPS recorded at Rs3.54, compared with Rs3.84 a year earlier.

Revenue and financing income

The statement of profit and loss shows income from diminishing Musharaka financing at approximately Rs1.094 billion, compared with Rs1.171 billion in FY2025.

Ijara rentals contributed around Rs337.364 million, up from approximately Rs321.304 million in the preceding year. Dividend income stood at Rs1.108 million, while profit on bank balances increased to approximately Rs58.773 million from Rs70.765 million in FY2025.

After accounting for financial and other charges, depreciation and credit-related items, the Modaraba reported profit before taxation of Rs242.52 million.

Final dividend announced

Alongside the annual results, the company announced a final cash dividend of Rs2.50 per certificate, or 25%, for the year ended June 30, 2026.

The company has not recommended any bonus shares, right shares or other entitlement.

For dividend entitlement purposes, the certificate transfer books will remain closed from October 21, 2026, to October 28, 2026, both days inclusive. Transfers received by the registrar before the close of business on October 20, 2026 will be considered timely for dividend entitlement.

Annual review meeting scheduled for October 28

OLP Modaraba has also scheduled its Annual Review Meeting (ARM) for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

The meeting will be held at the National Institute of Banking and Finance, Pakistan, located at Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan Road, Karachi.

Financial position

The Modaraba’s total assets stood at approximately Rs8.46 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs8.87 billion at the end of the previous financial year.

Certificate holders’ equity increased to approximately Rs1.374 billion, compared with Rs1.326 billion in FY2025. The financial position statement also shows total liabilities of approximately Rs7.082 billion at June 30, 2026.

Operating cash flow turns positive

One notable feature of the cash flow statement was the improvement in cash generated from operating activities. OLP Modaraba generated approximately Rs982.4 million in net cash from operating activities during FY2026, compared with a net cash outflow of Rs94.5 million in FY2025.

Cash and cash equivalents increased from approximately Rs454.6 million at the beginning of the year to Rs679.2 million at June 30, 2026, resulting in a net increase of about Rs224.6 million during the year.

Overall picture

OLP Modaraba remained profitable in FY2026, although its annual profit and earnings per certificate were lower than the previous year. At the same time, the company announced a final dividend of Rs2.50 per certificate and recorded a substantial improvement in operating cash generation.

The FY2026 results provide certificate holders with a picture of a Modaraba that continued to generate profits while maintaining a cash distribution and strengthening its operating cash flow position.
