Javedan Corporation Posts Strong Earnings Growth for FY2026

Javedan Corporation Limited has reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the year ended June 30, 2026, with both standalone and consolidated results showing substantial growth in profitability.

The company’s Board of Directors, in its meeting held on September 14, 2026, approved the financial results and recommended a final cash dividend of Rs6 per share, according to the company’s announcement. The board also approved payment of a 12% preference dividend to eligible preference shareholders before the distribution of dividends on ordinary shares. No bonus shares or right shares were announced.

Profit more than doubles

Javedan Corporation’s standalone financial statements show that profit for the year increased to approximately Rs3.86 billion in FY2026, compared with around Rs1.56 billion in FY2025. Earnings per share also rose sharply to Rs10.14 from Rs4.11.

On a consolidated basis, the company recorded a profit of approximately Rs3.91 billion, compared with Rs1.64 billion in the previous year. Consolidated earnings per share increased to Rs10.27 from Rs4.30.

The results also indicate a substantial improvement in comprehensive income. Standalone total comprehensive income for the year stood at about Rs6.76 billion, compared with Rs1.57 billion a year earlier, while consolidated total comprehensive income reached approximately Rs6.81 billion, compared with Rs1.64 billion in FY2025.

Dividend approved for shareholders

Alongside the improved earnings, the board approved a final cash dividend of Rs6 per share for the year ended June 30, 2026. The company did not announce any bonus shares or right shares as part of the latest corporate action.

The board also approved a 12% preference dividend for entitled preference shareholders. The company stated that this payment would be made before the distribution of dividends on ordinary shares.

Financial position and cash flows

The consolidated balance sheet shows total assets of approximately Rs47.39 billion at June 30, 2026, compared with Rs43.18 billion a year earlier. Consolidated equity and liabilities also stood at approximately Rs47.39 billion.

Cash flow from operating activities remained positive during the year. The consolidated financial statements show net cash generated from operating activities of approximately Rs6.60 billion. After investing and financing activities, cash and cash equivalents at the end of FY2026 stood at approximately Rs228.96 million, compared with Rs201.96 million at the end of FY2025.

Annual General Meeting scheduled

The company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting for October 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana, Naya Nazimabad, Manghopir Road, Karachi. The share transfer books for ordinary and preference shares will remain closed from September 30 to October 17, 2026, according to the company’s notice.
