Kohinoor Industries Limited has reported a profit after tax of Rs. 37.47 million for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 75.41 million in the previous year, according to its financial results submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The company announced its annual financial results following a meeting of its Board of Directors held on October 5, 2026, in Lahore. The results show that the company remained profitable during the year, although its earnings declined compared with the previous financial year.
Revenue and Profitability Performance
Kohinoor Industries Limited reported rental income of approximately Rs. 43.52 million for FY2026, down from Rs. 85.83 million in FY2025. Meanwhile, other income increased slightly to Rs. 45.81 million from Rs. 44.41 million in the preceding year.
The company’s operating profit decreased to Rs. 42.13 million, compared with Rs. 90.07 million a year earlier. Profit before income taxes stood at Rs. 37.70 million, against Rs. 87.93 million in FY2025.
After accounting for taxes, the company recorded a net profit of Rs. 37.47 million for FY2026. Basic earnings per share also declined to Rs. 1.24 from Rs. 2.49 in the previous financial year.
These figures indicate that the company maintained positive earnings but experienced a considerable reduction in profitability during the reporting period.
Financial Position Remains Stable
According to the company’s statement of financial position, total assets stood at approximately Rs. 1.17 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 1.166 billion at the end of FY2025.
Investment property remained the company’s largest asset category, increasing to Rs. 945.85 million from Rs. 923.30 million. Long-term investments also rose to Rs. 26.71 million from Rs. 20.27 million.
Total equity increased to Rs. 1.122 billion from Rs. 1.107 billion, while total liabilities declined to Rs. 48.08 million from Rs. 59.30 million. The reduction in liabilities reflects a lower overall liability balance at the end of the reporting year.
However, cash and bank balances decreased to Rs. 11.19 million from Rs. 17.69 million, highlighting a decline in cash holdings despite the company’s continued profitability.
Cash Flow Performance
The company’s cash flow statement showed that net cash used in operating activities amounted to Rs. 26.45 million in FY2026, compared with net cash generated of Rs. 26.28 million in FY2025.
Investing activities generated a net cash inflow of Rs. 42.09 million, mainly reflecting transactions involving short-term investments. Meanwhile, financing activities recorded a net cash outflow of Rs. 22.13 million, primarily related to dividend payments.
As a result, cash and cash equivalents decreased by approximately Rs. 6.50 million during the year, ending FY2026 at Rs. 11.19 million.
The cash flow figures suggest that monitoring operating cash generation and liquidity will remain important for the company’s financial management.
Dividend and Annual General Meeting
The company’s October 5 announcement recommended no cash dividend, bonus shares or right shares for FY2026. Shareholders should note that this announcement concerns the board’s recommendations, while the financial statements provide the reported results for the year.

Outlook for Investors
Kohinoor Industries Limited’s FY2026 results present a mixed financial picture. The company remained profitable and reported higher total equity alongside lower liabilities. At the same time, the decline in rental income, operating profit, net profit and earnings per share highlights the challenges reflected in its annual performance.
