According to the company’s financial results submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board of Directors approved the recommendation at a meeting held on October 5, 2026, at the company’s registered office in Multan.

Revenue and Profitability

Despite the reduction in sales and operating profit, the company remained profitable. Profit before taxation reached Rs. 90.11 million, compared with Rs. 104.49 million in the previous year. Net profit amounted to Rs. 85.67 million against Rs. 94.20 million in FY2025.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs. 10.11 for FY2026, compared with Rs. 11.12 in the previous fiscal year.

Board Recommends Cash Dividend

In addition to announcing its annual financial performance, the Board of Directors recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 0.75 per share for the year ended June 30, 2026. The proposed dividend is subject to the applicable corporate approval and entitlement procedures.

Shareholders whose names appear in the company’s register of members on October 20, 2026, will be eligible for the recommended dividend, according to the announcement.

The company’s share transfer books will remain closed from October 21 to October 28, 2026, inclusive. Transfers received by the company’s share registrar, Vision Consulting Limited, by the close of business on October 20, 2026, will be considered valid for the entitlement.

Financial Position and Cash Flow

The company’s total assets increased to approximately Rs. 4.60 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 4.46 billion a year earlier. Shareholders’ equity also rose to Rs. 2.47 billion from Rs. 2.39 billion.

However, the cash flow statement highlights an area investors may wish to monitor. Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills reported net cash used in operating activities of approximately Rs. 44.74 million during FY2026, compared with net cash generated of Rs. 524.80 million in FY2025.

The company also reported short-term borrowings of approximately Rs. 524.30 million at the end of the financial year, up from Rs. 282.22 million in the previous year. These figures make working-capital management and cash generation important considerations when assessing the company’s financial position.

Annual General Meeting Scheduled for October 28

Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Limited has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The company also stated that its annual report would be transmitted through the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s PUCARS system at least 21 days before the meeting.

The meeting will provide shareholders with an opportunity to review the company’s annual performance and address matters presented in accordance with the meeting agenda.

Outlook for Investors

Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Limited maintained profitability during FY2026 and reported growth in total assets and shareholders’ equity. However, lower sales, declining earnings per share, weaker operating cash flow and higher short-term borrowings remain important factors for investors to consider.

The recommended cash dividend may be of interest to shareholders seeking income from their investments. Nevertheless, investors should evaluate the company’s complete financial statements, cash flow position, debt levels and future business prospects before making investment decisions.
