Karachi, October 15, 2026: Tri-Star Mutual Fund Limited has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting an improvement in its net asset value per certificate and positive growth in total comprehensive income.

According to the financial statements submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s net asset value per certificate increased to Rs. 23.88, compared with Rs. 17.27 in the previous financial year. This represents a substantial improvement in the fund’s reported per-certificate net asset value.

Investments and Assets Record Growth

Tri-Star Mutual Fund’s total assets increased to approximately Rs. 149.33 million as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 113.73 million a year earlier. Investments, the fund’s principal current asset, rose to Rs. 149.05 million from Rs. 112.61 million in the previous year.

The increase in the investment portfolio contributed to the growth in the company’s overall asset base. Total net assets reached Rs. 119.41 million, compared with Rs. 86.34 million at the end of June 2025.

Profitability and Financial Performance

The fund reported operating income of Rs. 16.42 million for FY2026, down from approximately Rs. 25.08 million in FY2025. Profit before taxation stood at Rs. 13 million, compared with approximately Rs. 21.98 million in the preceding year.

Profit after taxation amounted to Rs. 2.56 million, compared with Rs. 21.57 million in FY2025. The current year’s results also included a deferred tax expense of approximately Rs. 10.44 million, which significantly affected the reported bottom-line profit.

Despite the lower profit after taxation, total comprehensive income increased to Rs. 22.63 million from Rs. 19.48 million in the previous financial year. This improvement was supported by other comprehensive income of approximately Rs. 20.08 million, reflecting changes in the fair value of investments.

Earnings Per Certificate

Tri-Star Mutual Fund reported earnings per certificate of Rs. 0.51 without the net unrealized diminution adjustment on investment remeasurement, compared with Rs. 4.31 in the previous year. The corresponding reported figure including the adjustment was Rs. 4.53, compared with Rs. 3.90 in FY2025.

These figures highlight the importance of distinguishing between operating profitability and changes in the market valuation of investments when evaluating the fund’s annual performance.

No Cash Dividend Recommended

In its notice dated October 6, 2026, the company’s board of directors recommended no cash dividend, bonus shares, rights shares or other entitlement for the year ended June 30, 2026.

The company also stated that its annual report for FY2026 would be submitted separately through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Actions and Reporting System (PUCARS) within the prescribed timeframe.

Outlook

Tri-Star Mutual Fund’s FY2026 results show growth in total assets, net assets and net asset value per certificate, alongside a decline in profit after taxation.
