Income from bank deposits amounted to Rs 2.75 million, and income from investments in treasury bills contributed approximately Rs 3.07 million. Dividend income was reported at around Rs 985,000.

However, the company recorded an unrealised loss of approximately Rs 8.54 million on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss. This loss was a significant factor affecting the overall income reported for the quarter.

Administrative and operating expenses increased to approximately Rs 9.26 million from Rs 7.80 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Financial charges also rose to approximately Rs 1.86 million, compared with around Rs 1,479 in the previous year’s quarter.

Cash and cash equivalents declined to approximately Rs 71.15 million at September 30, 2026, from Rs 121.50 million at the beginning of the period. The reduction was largely associated with cash used in investing activities, which amounted to approximately Rs 73.73 million.

No Dividend or Bonus Shares Announced

Alongside its financial results, the board recommended no cash dividend, bonus shares or right shares for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company also reported no other entitlement or corporate action in its notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Outlook

Invest Capital Investment Bank remained profitable during the September 2026 quarter, supported by income from its leasing, financing and investment activities. However, the year-on-year decline in profit and earnings per share highlights the importance of managing operating costs and investment-related volatility.

Investors will likely monitor the company’s future financial results, income composition, cash position and profitability trends to assess its performance in the coming quarters.
