Waves Home Appliances Limited has announced the successful resumption of its Air Conditioner (AC) product line, signaling a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing recovery and growth strategy.

The company revealed that it has restarted assembly operations and nationwide commercial sales of its AC range after overcoming challenges that had temporarily affected production. The suspension was primarily caused by country-wide import restrictions introduced in 2022, along with macroeconomic pressures and tighter monetary policies that impacted working capital and supply chain operations.

Following improvements in its financial position and strategic realignment of resources, Waves has secured the necessary supply chain arrangements for importing materials and components. The company has also renewed its partnership with a leading air conditioner kit supplier in China, ensuring a reliable flow of products to support manufacturing operations.

The first shipment of 5,000 CKD air conditioner kits has already arrived, enabling the company to restart assembly for both T3 and T1 models across key product categories. Distribution to Waves’ nationwide dealer network has commenced, and early market feedback has been encouraging.

Management expects the revived AC segment to contribute positively to revenue and profitability beginning in the current quarter. The relaunch is also anticipated to support the revival of additional product lines, including washing machines, microwave ovens, and water dispensers.

The resumption of AC production reflects Waves Home Appliances’ commitment to strengthening its market position, expanding its product offerings, and delivering quality home appliance solutions to consumers across Pakistan.

As the company continues to rebuild momentum, the relaunch of its air conditioner business represents an important step toward sustainable growth and enhanced value creation for customers, dealers, and shareholders alike.
