Loads Limited has reported an increase in quarterly profit for the period ended September 30, 2026, supported by higher revenue and improved operating performance. However, the company’s earnings per share declined compared with the corresponding quarter last year, according to its latest financial results submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The company announced its financial results following a Board of Directors meeting held on October 26, 2026, at its registered office in Karachi.

Revenue and Gross Profit Increase

Loads Limited recorded revenue of Rs2.09 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with approximately Rs1.99 billion in the same period last year. This represents an increase of around 5.1%.

Gross profit rose to Rs452.25 million from Rs437.36 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Despite higher revenue, the cost of revenue also increased to Rs1.64 billion from Rs1.55 billion, reflecting continued pressure on production and operating costs.

Profit Before Tax Rises

The company reported an operating profit of Rs358.59 million for the quarter, compared with Rs329.57 million in the same period last year. The improvement reflects growth in gross profit and higher other income, although administrative, selling and general expenses also increased.

Finance costs declined to Rs57.66 million from Rs77.18 million, providing additional support to profitability.

As a result, profit before tax increased to Rs300.93 million, up from Rs252.39 million a year earlier.

Net Profit Grows by Nearly 23%

Loads Limited recorded a net profit of Rs189.59 million for the September 2026 quarter, compared with Rs153.82 million in the corresponding period last year. This represents an increase of approximately 23.3%.

The improvement in net profit came despite higher taxation, which rose to Rs111.34 million from Rs98.57 million.

However, earnings per share declined to Rs0.51 from the restated Rs0.57 reported for the same quarter last year. This difference highlights the importance of considering per-share performance alongside overall profit growth.

Consolidated Results Also Show Profit Growth

At the consolidated level, Loads Limited reported revenue of Rs2.09 billion, compared with Rs1.99 billion in the corresponding quarter of 2025.

Consolidated gross profit increased to Rs443.56 million from Rs431.86 million, while operating profit edged up to Rs306.77 million from Rs306.38 million.

Consolidated profit for the period rose to Rs92.53 million from Rs77.62 million, representing growth of approximately 19.2%. Earnings per share, however, decreased to Rs0.35 from Rs0.41.

The consolidated results reflect the combined financial performance of the parent company and its subsidiaries, including the impact of non-controlling interests.

Financial Position and Cash Flow

According to the company’s unconsolidated statement of financial position, total assets stood at Rs9.43 billion as of September 30, 2026, compared with Rs9.24 billion at June 30, 2026.

The company’s consolidated total assets increased to approximately Rs7.69 billion from Rs7.54 billion over the same period.

Cash flow remained an important area to monitor. Unconsolidated net cash generated from operating activities was approximately Rs26.09 million during the quarter, compared with net cash used of Rs261.09 million in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated operating cash flow also improved, reaching Rs63.22 million compared with an outflow of Rs143.77 million a year earlier.

These figures indicate an improvement in operating cash generation compared with the previous year’s quarter, although cash balances and working capital requirements remain relevant considerations.

No Dividend or Bonus Shares Announced

Alongside its financial results, the board announced no cash dividend, bonus shares or right shares for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

Investors will therefore be looking at the company’s future earnings, cash generation and capital allocation decisions for further indications of its financial direction.

Outlook

Loads Limited’s September 2026 results show growth in revenue, gross profit and net profit, with lower finance costs contributing to improved profitability. The increase in consolidated net profit also points to a stronger bottom-line performance compared with the same quarter last year.

Nevertheless, the decline in earnings per share, rising operating expenses and taxation warrant attention. Investors may continue to monitor demand in the automotive components sector, cost management, working capital and the company’s ability to sustain profit growth in upcoming quarters.

The latest results provide a mixed but generally positive picture: overall profitability improved, while per-share earnings remained under pressure.
