Zuma Resources Limited has announced a significant step in its strategic transformation by entering into a Global Connectivity Agreement with Telna North America Inc., a United States-based telecommunications connectivity provider. The agreement marks the company’s entry into the rapidly expanding global digital connectivity and eSIM market, positioning Zuma as an emerging player in the international telecom sector.
Under the agreement, Telna will provide Zuma access to its multi-IMSI global connectivity infrastructure, enabling the company to offer a range of international mobile telecommunications services. These services include eSIM connectivity, mobile data solutions, voice and SMS services, and international roaming capabilities across multiple networks worldwide.
The partnership grants Zuma extensive commercial rights, including the ability to establish and launch its own global telecom brand. The company will be able to utilize Telna’s infrastructure to deliver telecom services directly to end users, operate as a reseller and service provider across various jurisdictions, and integrate third-party partners and service providers into its ecosystem. Additionally, Zuma will retain commercial flexibility through the option of adopting a multi-supplier operating model.
According to the company, the agreement represents a key milestone in its transition toward becoming a technology and telecom-enabled business platform. By leveraging Telna’s infrastructure, Zuma aims to develop and operate its own global telecom platform and brand while creating scalable and recurring revenue streams. The initiative is also expected to strengthen the company’s position in international telecom and digital infrastructure markets.
The agreement has an initial term of three years and includes revenue generation opportunities through the resale of telecom services and usage-based billing mechanisms. Its scalable commercial structure is designed to support subscriber growth and increasing traffic volumes, enabling large-scale deployment of telecom services across global markets.
Looking ahead, Zuma Resources plans to continue expanding its telecom footprint and enhancing its service offerings through innovation and strategic partnerships. The company also disclosed that it is evaluating the feasibility of applying for a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) license from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), subject to regulatory approvals and legal requirements. Any further developments regarding this initiative will be communicated in accordance with applicable regulations.
The agreement underscores Zuma Resources’ commitment to diversifying its business model and capitalizing on opportunities within the global digital connectivity landscape, potentially opening new avenues for long-term growth and shareholder value creation.
