Cherat Packaging Limited (CPL) has announced the successful installation and commissioning of its second Extrusion Plant, a state-of-the-art Barrier Film Extrusion Line, marking a significant expansion of its Flexible Packaging Division. The development was disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as material information on June 22, 2026.
According to the company, the newly commissioned extrusion line, along with related auxiliary equipment, has been acquired from Windmöller & Hölscher, a globally recognized manufacturer of packaging machinery. The investment is aimed at strengthening CPL’s production capabilities and supporting the growing demand for flexible packaging solutions.
The additional extrusion plant is expected to significantly enhance the division’s production capacity while improving operational efficiency and resource utilization. By expanding its manufacturing infrastructure, Cherat Packaging seeks to better serve existing customers and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the packaging industry.
The commissioning of the new facility reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to technological advancement and capacity expansion.
