Sanghar Sugar Mills Limited has officially announced its un-audited condensed interim financial results for the six months period ended March 31, 2026. The announcement was approved during a meeting of the company\u2019s Board of Directors held on May 22, 2026, at the company\u2019s registered office in Karachi.<\/p>\n
According to the notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board of Directors recommended no cash dividend, bonus shares, right shares, or any other entitlement for the reported period.<\/p>\n
The company also confirmed that the interim financial package includes the Condensed Interim Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Statement of Cash Flows. In addition, Shariah disclosures under Schedule IV of the Companies Act, 2017 have also been annexed with the report.<\/p>\n
An important matter highlighted in the auditors\u2019 review report relates to the non-provision of Rs. 391.668 million associated with the sugarcane purchase price difference for the 2017-18 season. The issue remains under consideration before the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
The auditors emphasized that uncertainty still exists regarding the final outcome of legal proceedings related to minimum sugarcane pricing and related matters. However, the auditors clarified that their opinion on the interim financial statements remains unqualified.<\/p>\n
Sanghar Sugar Mills stated that the full quarterly report for the six months period ended March 31, 2026 will be transmitted separately through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Reporting System (PUCARS) within the specified timeline.<\/p>\n
