Karachi, June 1, 2026 \u2014 Supernet Technologies Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that its Board of Directors has expressed its intention to potentially undertake a rights issue of ordinary shares in the near future, subject to further approvals and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
According to the company’s disclosure, the proposed rights issue could raise up to PKR 914.8 million. If finalized, the shares are expected to be offered at a price not exceeding PKR 10 per share, with the final pricing and structure to be determined by the Board at a later stage.<\/p>\n
The company stated that the proceeds from the potential capital raise are intended to support several strategic objectives. A significant portion of the funds may be utilized to meet working capital requirements for upcoming projects that are expected to enhance operational performance and strengthen future growth prospects. Additionally, part of the proceeds may be allocated toward funding consideration payable to Telecard Limited under the Share Purchase Agreement signed on February 15, 2024, relating to the acquisition of a 51% stake in Supernet Limited.<\/p>\n
The Board noted that the announcement is being made to facilitate shareholders and associated entities in obtaining any necessary corporate and shareholder approvals that may be required to participate in the proposed offering, should it proceed.<\/p>\n
The company emphasized that no final decision regarding the actual rights issue has yet been announced. The Board retains the authority to approve and launch the offering at a future date in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
