The decline in revenue significantly impacted profitability, resulting in a gross loss of Rs. 99.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s operating loss widened to Rs. 171.2 million, reflecting the combined effect of lower sales volumes and ongoing administrative and operating expenses. After accounting for finance costs and taxation, PECO reported a net loss after tax of Rs. 342.8 million for the period.<\/p>\n<p>On the balance sheet side, total assets amounted to Rs. 15.79 billion as of March 31, 2019, compared with Rs. 15.97 billion at the end of June 2018. Property, plant, and equipment continued to represent the largest portion of the company&#8217;s asset base.<\/p>\n<p>Cash flow performance also weakened during the period. Net cash generated from operating activities totaled Rs. 26.5 million, while investing activities consumed Rs. 54.7 million, primarily due to capital expenditures and investments.
