Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited (NICL) has announced its financial results for the third quarter ended March 31, 2026, reporting a strong improvement in profitability alongside the declaration of a 10% interim cash dividend for shareholders. The Board of Directors approved the unaudited financial statements during its meeting held on April 24, 2026.
The company declared an interim cash dividend of Re. 1 per ordinary share, representing a 10% payout, while no bonus shares or right shares were announced. Share transfer books will remain closed from May 6 to May 8, 2026, with transfers received by the close of business on May 5 qualifying for the dividend entitlement.
During the third quarter (January–March 2026), Nimir Industrial Chemicals posted net revenue of Rs. 11.46 billion, compared with Rs. 12.19 billion in the corresponding period last year. Despite the slight decline in quarterly sales, the company reported a profit after tax of Rs. 222.3 million, while earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs. 2.01.
For the nine months ended March 31, 2026, the company delivered a much stronger performance. Net revenue increased to Rs. 34.91 billion, up from Rs. 32.58 billion in the same period of the previous year. Gross profit rose to Rs. 5.07 billion, while operating profit improved to Rs. 4.09 billion. Profit after tax reached Rs. 1.34 billion, slightly above Rs. 1.34 billion recorded in the corresponding period last year, with EPS of Rs. 12.11.
The company’s financial position also remained solid. Total assets stood at approximately Rs. 33.11 billion, while shareholders’ equity increased to Rs. 10.61 billion, reflecting growth in accumulated profits during the period.
According to the cash flow statement, Nimir generated Rs. 1.91 billion in net cash from operating activities, providing healthy liquidity to support ongoing operations and future investments. The company ended the period with cash and cash equivalents of Rs. 138.8 million after accounting for investing and financing activities.
The latest results highlight Nimir Industrial Chemicals’ continued resilience despite a challenging operating environment. With improved profitability over the nine-month period, a healthy balance sheet, and a 10% interim cash dividend, the company has reinforced its commitment to delivering value to shareholders while maintaining financial stability.
