According to the financial statements approved by the company’s Board of Directors on October 20, 2026, net revenue increased to Rs15.27 billion during the quarter, compared with Rs12.46 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company’s gross profit also improved to Rs2.06 billion from Rs1.56 billion, while operating profit climbed to Rs1.60 billion against Rs1.25 billion a year earlier.

Earnings Per Share Improve

Nimir Industrial Chemicals reported earnings per share (EPS) of Rs6.02 for the quarter, up from Rs4.55 in the same period last year. The increase reflects the company’s improved bottom-line performance during the reporting period.

Profit before income tax rose to Rs1.07 billion, compared with Rs705.09 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Meanwhile, finance costs declined to Rs464.27 million from Rs506.17 million, providing additional support to profitability.

Revenue Growth Supports Financial Performance

Net revenue increased by approximately 22.6% year-on-year, while gross profit grew by nearly 31.8%. Operating profit also registered an increase of around 28.8%, indicating an improvement in the company’s operating performance.

Despite higher administrative and distribution expenses, the company managed to strengthen its earnings. Administrative expenses increased to Rs191.68 million from Rs162.02 million, while distribution costs rose to Rs260.67 million from Rs152.61 million.

Other expenses also increased during the period, reaching Rs98.39 million compared with Rs46.20 million a year earlier.

Board Announces No Interim Dividend

The Board of Directors did not recommend a cash dividend for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company also announced no bonus shares or right shares.

The board approved the unaudited interim financial statements following consideration and recommendation by the Audit Committee. The company stated that the financial results would be transmitted through the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s relevant reporting system and made available on its official website.

Cash Flow and Financial Position

Nimir Industrial Chemicals generated net cash from operating activities of Rs2.74 billion during the quarter, compared with Rs867.95 million in the corresponding period last year. However, net cash used in financing activities increased to Rs2.53 billion, primarily reflecting loan repayments, lease-related payments and changes in short-term borrowings.

The company’s total assets stood at Rs34.35 billion as of September 30, 2026, compared with Rs36.00 billion at the end of June 2026. Short-term borrowings declined to Rs12.17 billion from Rs14.28 billion over the same period.

These figures indicate that the company generated stronger operating cash flows while reducing its short-term borrowing balance during the quarter.

Outlook

Nimir Industrial Chemicals’ first-quarter results show improved revenue, profitability and earnings per share compared with the same period last year. The increase in operating cash generation and reduction in short-term borrowings are also notable developments in its financial position.

Investors will likely monitor the company’s revenue growth, production costs, finance expenses and working-capital requirements in the coming quarters to assess whether this improved performance can be sustained.
