KSB Pumps Company Limited has announced a change in its senior management, with Fida Hussain appointed as the company’s new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), effective September 1, 2026.
According to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on August 18, the company’s Board of Directors approved the leadership transition at its meeting held the same day. Mr. Imran Ghani will step down as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and will continue to serve the company as a Director following a mutually agreed transition process.
Ghani joined KSB Pakistan in September 2021 and played a key role in the company’s transformation and growth during his tenure. The company said that under his leadership, KSB strengthened its market position, improved operational and financial performance, expanded its export business and further developed its service operations in Pakistan.
His responsibilities also extended beyond the local business, as he served as Head of Central Asia within the wider KSB Group. The company and the KSB Group acknowledged his leadership, dedication and contribution to the business and wished him success in his future professional and personal endeavors.
With Hussain taking over as MD & CEO, KSB Pumps is entering its next phase of leadership while maintaining its focus on customers, employees, shareholders and business partners. The company stated that it remains committed to pursuing its strategic objectives and growth plans in Pakistan and the wider region.
The management transition comes as KSB continues to focus on strengthening its operations and expanding its presence in the markets it serves. The appointment of a new chief executive is therefore expected to mark an important new chapter for the company as it builds on the progress achieved in recent years.
