Balochistan Wheels Limited (BWHL) has reported a profit after tax of Rs312.6 million for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs315.6 million recorded in the previous year.
According to the company’s financial results, turnover increased substantially to Rs2.92 billion, up from Rs2.31 billion a year earlier. The higher sales translated into a gross profit of Rs830.8 million, compared with Rs567.1 million in FY2025.
The company’s operating profit also improved, rising to Rs579.2 million from Rs459.0 million in the preceding year. However, the increase in taxation weighed on the bottom line. Tax expense climbed to Rs263.8 million, compared with Rs140.8 million in FY2025.
As a result, profit for the year stood at Rs312.6 million, slightly below the Rs315.6 million reported a year earlier. Earnings per share also edged down to Rs23.44, compared with Rs23.67.
Stronger Cash Generation
Balochistan Wheels delivered a significant improvement in operating cash generation during the year. Net cash generated from operating activities reached Rs187.0 million, compared with Rs45.7 million in FY2025.
The company also generated Rs128.9 million from investing activities, supported by proceeds from the disposal of operating fixed assets, profit received on savings accounts and treasury bills, and short-term investments.
Capital expenditure remained significant, with Rs195.5 million spent on property, plant and equipment, compared with Rs44.0 million in the previous year.
Despite dividend payments, cash and cash equivalents increased to Rs97.9 million at June 30, 2026, from Rs15.8 million a year earlier.
Final Dividend of Rs10 Per Share
The company’s board has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs10 per share, equivalent to 100%, for the year ended June 30, 2026. This is in addition to the interim cash dividend of Rs10 per share already paid during the year, bringing the total cash dividend for FY2026 to Rs20 per share.
The board did not recommend any bonus shares, right shares or other corporate entitlement.
AGM Scheduled for September
Balochistan Wheels will hold its Annual General Meeting on September 26, 2026, at the company’s registered office on the Main RCD Highway, Hub Chowki, District Lasbela, Balochistan.
The company said its share transfer books will remain closed from September 19 to September 26, 2026, both days inclusive.
