BF Biosciences Limited, a subsidiary of Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, has announced the launch of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices in Pakistan under the brand name Sibionics CGM. The company shared the development with the Pakistan Stock Exchange on August 20, 2026, in response to recent product-launch coverage and public inquiries.
The company said the CGM devices have been introduced in collaboration with SIBIONICS, China, a medical technology company focused on continuous glucose monitoring and digital health solutions. According to BF Biosciences, SIBIONICS was founded in 2015 and has developed a global presence in CGM technology, with its products and services available in more than 100 countries and serving over four million users worldwide.
Focus on Better Diabetes Management
Continuous Glucose Monitoring is an emerging technology designed to provide users with ongoing information about glucose levels and trends. Unlike traditional periodic glucose testing, CGM can provide a more continuous picture of glucose patterns, helping patients and healthcare professionals better understand how factors such as food, physical activity and lifestyle may affect glucose levels.
BF Biosciences said the introduction of Sibionics CGM is part of its broader strategy to develop a more integrated approach to metabolic care. The company intends the technology to complement its existing metabolic portfolio, which includes Ferulin (Insulin), Sematide (Semaglutide) and Zeptide (Tirzepatide), where clinically appropriate and under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
Building an Integrated Metabolic-Care Portfolio
The company further highlighted its efforts to combine medicines, medical devices and disease-awareness initiatives, including its SlimPossible programme. According to BF Biosciences, these initiatives are aimed at supporting a more comprehensive approach to the management of diabetes, obesity and related metabolic conditions.
The launch represents an expansion of BF Biosciences’ focus beyond conventional pharmaceutical products toward technology-enabled healthcare solutions. By adding CGM devices to its metabolic-care portfolio, the company aims to provide patients and healthcare professionals with additional tools for monitoring glucose patterns and supporting diabetes management.
