Karachi: Agriauto Industries Limited has reported a significant improvement in profitability for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, with consolidated earnings rising sharply compared with the previous year.
According to the company’s financial statements, profit after taxation surged to Rs1.203 billion, compared with Rs238.324 million in the preceding year. This represents a substantial increase in annual earnings.
The strong bottom-line performance was also reflected in earnings per share. Basic and diluted earnings per share increased to Rs33.43, up from Rs6.62 a year earlier.
At the standalone company level, Agriauto Industries also recorded a notable improvement. Profit after taxation rose to Rs681.359 million, compared with Rs98.975 million in the previous year, while earnings per share increased to Rs18.93 from Rs2.75.
Rs5 Per Share Final Dividend
Alongside the financial results, the company’s Board of Directors recommended a final cash dividend of Rs5 per share, equivalent to 100%, providing a direct return to shareholders following the strong financial performance.
The financial statements also show that the company had paid a final dividend of Rs1.75 per share for the year ended June 30, 2025.
AGM Scheduled for October 22
Agriauto Industries has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Pearl-Continental Hotel in Karachi, with shareholders also able to participate through an online video/audio link, according to the notice.
The company stated that the dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as of October 15, 2026.
The results mark a considerably stronger year for Agriauto Industries, with both consolidated and standalone profitability showing substantial year-on-year improvement. The sharp rise in earnings, together with the proposed dividend, gives shareholders a stronger financial outcome for the year ended June 2026.
