Karachi: Agriauto Industries Limited has reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2026, with consolidated profit after tax rising sharply compared with the same period last year.
The company’s Board of Directors approved the unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results at a meeting held on April 20, 2026. According to the financial statements, Agriauto Industries recorded profit after tax of Rs724.019 million for the nine months ended March 31, 2026, compared with Rs71.501 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The improvement represents a substantial increase in earnings and highlights a much stronger bottom-line performance during the nine-month period.
Quarterly Performance Also Remains Positive
The company also delivered growth during the latest quarter. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at approximately Rs195.949 million, compared with Rs127.242 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The results show that Agriauto continued to maintain positive earnings momentum during the period.
Earnings per share also improved considerably. For the nine-month period, basic and diluted earnings per share increased to Rs20.11 from Rs1.99 a year earlier. For the quarter, EPS stood at Rs5.44, compared with Rs3.53 in the corresponding period.
Stronger Financial Position
The financial statements also show the company’s consolidated assets at approximately Rs10.04 billion as of March 31, 2026, compared with around Rs9.65 billion at June 30, 2025. The balance sheet reflects the company’s continued scale and financial activity during the period.
Cash flow performance also improved. The consolidated cash flow statement shows net cash generated from operating activities of about Rs1.009 billion during the nine months, while investing activities also generated positive cash flow.
No Dividend or Bonus Issue Recommended
Despite the strong earnings performance, the Board did not recommend a cash dividend or bonus issue for the period. The financial results notification states “NIL” for cash dividend, bonus issue and right shares.
The company said the quarterly report would be transmitted separately through PUCARS within the specified time.
Overall, Agriauto Industries’ March 2026 results point to a significant improvement in profitability, particularly on a nine-month basis. The sharp rise in profit after tax and earnings per share makes the period notably stronger than the corresponding period of last year, while the company continues to maintain a substantial asset base and positive operating cash generation.
