Wah Nobel Chemicals Limited has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting a profit after tax of Rs451.72 million and recommending a final cash dividend of Rs5.00 per share, equivalent to 50%. The company disclosed the results following a meeting of its Board of Directors held on September 23, 2026.
Revenue and Profit Performance
According to the financial statements, Wah Nobel Chemicals recorded net revenue of Rs4.835 billion during FY2025-26, compared with Rs5.096 billion in the previous financial year. The company generated a gross profit of Rs1.008 billion, up from Rs853.9 million in FY2024-25.
Despite the higher gross profit, operating and other expenses affected the bottom line. Profit before tax stood at Rs816.60 million, compared with Rs715.56 million a year earlier. After taxation of approximately Rs364.88 million, the company reported profit after tax of Rs451.72 million, compared with Rs483.09 million in FY2024-25.
The company’s earnings per share declined to Rs50.19, compared with Rs53.55 in the preceding year.
Stronger Cash Generation
One of the notable developments in the financial statements was the improvement in operating cash flow. Wah Nobel Chemicals generated Rs518.33 million in net cash from operating activities during FY2025-26, compared with a net cash outflow of Rs368.50 million in the previous year.
Cash generated from operations reached Rs852.73 million before various payments, while the company used Rs6.14 million for capital expenditure. Financing activities resulted in a net cash outflow of Rs110.08 million.
As a result, cash and cash equivalents increased from approximately Rs298.66 million at the beginning of the year to Rs103.45 million at year-end, after taking into account operating, investing and financing movements.
Dividend for Shareholders
The Board has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs5 per share, representing 50%, for the year ended June 30, 2026. The company stated that no interim dividend was paid during the year.
No bonus shares, right shares or other corporate actions were recommended. Shareholders whose names appear in the company’s Register of Members on October 20, 2026, will be entitled to the dividend. The share transfer books will remain closed from October 21 to October 28, 2026, both days inclusive.
Equity Position Strengthens
The company’s balance sheet also showed an increase in shareholders’ equity. Total equity stood at approximately Rs3.019 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs2.654 billion a year earlier.
Total assets were reported at Rs3.512 billion, while total liabilities declined significantly to approximately Rs493.46 million, compared with Rs1.186 billion in FY2025. The reduction in liabilities was accompanied by a substantial increase in retained earnings, which reached approximately Rs2.928 billion.
Annual General Meeting
Wah Nobel Chemicals has scheduled its Annual General Meeting for October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the company’s head office located on G.T. Road, Wah Cantt.
The company also stated that its annual report will be transmitted through PUCARS at least 21 days before the AGM.
