According to the company’s financial results, net sales stood at Rs3.74 billion, down from Rs3.89 billion in the same period of the previous year. Gross profit declined to Rs656.8 million from Rs681.1 million, primarily due to lower sales volumes and continued cost pressures.

Operating profit came in at Rs613.2 million, compared with Rs639.7 million a year earlier. However, higher finance costs and other expenses weighed on the bottom line, resulting in a modest decline in profit before tax to Rs533.5 million from Rs576.6 million.

The company posted earnings per share (EPS) of Rs36.20 for the nine-month period, compared with Rs37.98 in the corresponding period last year. Actually prior quarter profit was Rs121.5 million with an EPS of Rs13.50 in the same quarter last year.

On the balance sheet, the company’s financial position remained solid. Total equity increased to Rs2.89 billion as of March 31, 2026, compared with Rs2.65 billion at the end of June 2025, while total liabilities declined to Rs868.9 million from Rs1.19 billion, indicating an improvement in leverage. Cash and bank balances also rose significantly to Rs226.4 million, strengthening the company’s liquidity position.

The Board of Directors confirmed that no interim cash dividend, bonus shares, right shares, or any other corporate action would be announced alongside the financial results.

Overall, Wah Nobel Chemicals delivered another profitable quarter despite a slight decline in sales and earnings, supported by efficient operations and a stronger balance sheet, positioning the company to navigate challenging market conditions in the months ahead.
