Ghandhara Automobiles Limited (GAL) has announced a major expansion plan aimed at upgrading its existing Paint Shop facilities and improving productivity and operational efficiency. The company disclosed the development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on September 17, 2026, as material information.

Under the plan, Ghandhara Automobiles will enhance its existing Paint Shop facilities as part of its broader efforts to improve manufacturing operations. The expansion is scheduled for completion during the third quarter of the financial year 2026–27.

A key component of the project will be the installation of a Robotics Top Coat Line. According to the company, the new automated system is expected to help improve paint quality, increase productivity and achieve greater cost efficiency in operations.

The total estimated cost of the expansion plan has been set at Rs. 2.3 billion, highlighting the scale of the company’s planned investment in its production infrastructure.
