J.K. Spinning Mills Limited has announced a major step toward sustainable manufacturing by significantly expanding its renewable energy infrastructure. The company has added 8.0 megawatts (MW) of solar power generation capacity, reinforcing its commitment to clean energy, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
The announcement was made through a material information disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in accordance with the Securities Act, 2015 and the PSX Regulations. The company stated that the new solar power installation will substantially increase its reliance on renewable energy while reducing its carbon footprint and environmental impact.
According to the company, the 8 MW solar facility is expected to meet a significant portion of its energy requirements.
