Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LCPL) has announced the successful commissioning of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs. The development was disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) through a notice dated April 30, 2026.

According to the company, the BESS project is a strategic investment designed to enhance energy reliability, optimize load management, and decrease dependence on high-cost electricity backup systems.
