Lahore: LSE SPAC-II Limited has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on September 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the auditorium of the Exchange Hub, LSE Plaza, 19-Kashmir Egerton Road, Lahore.
The company notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on August 31 that the newspaper advertisement carrying the AGM notice had been published in both English and Urdu newspapers on August 29, 2026.
According to the notice, shareholders will consider the company’s audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2026, along with the Directors’ and Auditors’ Reports.
The AGM agenda also includes the appointment of the company’s external auditors for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, including approval of their remuneration.
Another key item on the agenda is the election of seven directors for a three-year term. The retiring directors listed for re-election include Syed Haider Mujtaba and Ms. Amna Tariq among the independent directors, as well as several non-executive directors and the Chief Executive Officer.
The company has also placed a special resolution concerning an investment in the equity shares of M.P. Industries Limited before shareholders for consideration. The proposed resolution covers the investment and related authorisations, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the AGM notice.
The notice further outlines procedures for shareholder attendance, proxy appointments, e-voting and postal ballot arrangements. Members are required to provide relevant information within the prescribed timelines to participate in the meeting.
LSE SPAC-II said the meeting notice had been issued under the authorisation of its Board of Directors and advised shareholders and other stakeholders to follow the procedures specified in the notice.
The announcement provides shareholders with an opportunity to review the company’s financial performance, consider the appointment of auditors and participate in decisions concerning the composition of the Board and proposed investment matters.
