Karachi: MCB Investment Management Limited (MCB Funds) has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting another year of solid profitability while rewarding shareholders with a substantial final cash dividend. The company’s Board of Directors approved the results during its meeting held on August 4, 2026.
The Board recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 4.00 per share (40%), in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 3.00 per share (30%) already distributed during the year. This brings the total cash dividend for FY2026 to Rs. 7.00 per share (70%). The company did not recommend any bonus shares or right shares.
MCB Investment Management delivered a profit after taxation of Rs. 1.77 billion for FY2026, representing a modest increase from Rs. 1.76 billion recorded in the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs. 24.62, compared with Rs. 24.42 in FY2025. The growth was supported by higher management and investment advisory income, stronger investment-related earnings, and continued operational efficiency.
The company’s total revenue increased to Rs. 4.72 billion, up from Rs. 4.71 billion a year earlier. Gross profit also rose to Rs. 2.46 billion, while operating profit climbed to Rs. 2.26 billion, reflecting resilient performance despite a challenging market environment.
MCB Investment Management also strengthened its financial position during the year. Total assets expanded to approximately Rs. 6.55 billion, compared with Rs. 5.02 billion in FY2025. Shareholders’ equity grew significantly to Rs. 4.58 billion, driven by higher retained earnings, highlighting the company’s strong capital base and healthy balance sheet.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to be held on October 28, 2026, in Karachi. Shareholders whose names appear on the register by October 21, 2026, will be entitled to receive the final dividend. The company’s share transfer books will remain closed from October 22 to October 28, 2026 (both days inclusive).
The FY2026 results underscore MCB Investment Management’s ability to deliver consistent earnings growth and shareholder returns while maintaining a robust financial position, reinforcing its standing as one of Pakistan’s leading asset management companies.
