D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited (DGKC) has signed an agreement for the supply and erection of a 25MW photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant along with a 10MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its cement plant in Mauza Khofli Satti, Dera Ghazi Khan.
According to the company’s disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange dated September 23, 2026, the agreement has been signed with EBR Energy Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited, Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ltd., China, and Pragmatic Engineering Solutions FZE.
Solar Project to Support Power Generation
The project combines a 25MW solar photovoltaic facility with a 10MWh battery energy storage system. The addition of battery storage is designed to complement the solar generation setup by providing an energy-storage component alongside the renewable power plant.
