KARACHI: Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (PICT) has announced a significant change in its ownership structure after the successful transfer of a majority stake to Sea Link Group & Associates, marking a major development for the company and its shareholders.
In a material information disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on July 21, 2026, PICT informed investors that its Board of Directors had approved the transfer of 889,087 shares through a public tender offer and 87,003,949 shares under a Share Purchase Agreement.
The transaction was executed between Sea Link Group & Associates, including Euroasia Terminals (Private) Limited, and ICTSI Limited (Bermuda). Following the completion of the share transfer, Sea Link Group & Associates has acquired 87,893,036 shares, representing approximately 80.52% of PICT’s issued share capital, giving the group effective control of the company.
PICT stated that all relevant shares have been duly transferred in the name of the acquiring entity, completing the ownership transition in accordance with applicable regulations.
The company disclosed the information under the requirements of the Securities Act, 2015, and the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book, ensuring shareholders and market participants are informed of the change in control.
The acquisition represents a major corporate development for PICT, one of Pakistan’s leading container terminal operators.
