Security Leasing Corporation Limited (SLCL) has provided an update on its financial and legal position, highlighting progress in creditor settlements, an expected sizeable recovery from a debtor, and ongoing efforts aimed at the company’s revival.
The company also updated the PSX regarding proceedings connected with the cancellation of its licence. It said the SECP Appellate Bench’s order dated April 8, 2025, had been challenged before the Sindh High Court.
According to the company’s disclosure, the Sindh High Court, through an order dated September 24, 2025, in Miscellaneous Appeal No. 123 of 2025, restrained the respondents from taking adverse or coercive action against Security Leasing Corporation. The restraint includes winding-up and delisting proceedings.
Security Leasing requested the PSX to keep the court order on record and asked that action under an earlier notice remain suspended until the matter is decided by the court.
Revival Efforts Continue
Management said it continues to regularly pursue the remaining creditor settlements and recoveries. The results of these efforts are expected to be reflected in the company’s forthcoming annual financial statements.
Security Leasing Corporation also said it would continue informing the Pakistan Stock Exchange about any material developments concerning the company.
Overall, the latest disclosure indicates that the company remains focused on resolving outstanding financial matters while its legal proceedings continue. The expected debtor recovery and completion of creditor settlements are among the developments to watch as Security Leasing pursues its revival efforts.
