Security Papers Limited has successfully completed the upgrade of its Paper Machine 2 (PM-2), allowing the company to resume normal plant operations and production from September 30, 2026.
According to the company’s disclosure dated September 30, the PM-2 upgrade was carried out to install and integrate modern components designed to enhance the machine’s technical capabilities. The project involved a temporary suspension of production beginning July 25, 2026.
The upgraded PM-2 is expected to strengthen Security Papers Limited’s ability to incorporate advanced and modern security features into its banknote paper production. The project therefore represents an important operational development for the company as it moves back to normal production following the upgrade.
With the upgrade now successfully completed, the company has confirmed that normal operation and production of the plant have resumed with effect from September 30, 2026.
Security Papers Limited disclosed the development in accordance with applicable requirements under the Securities Act, 2015 and the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited’s regulations. The company also requested that the information be communicated to the relevant TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange.
