Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced its financial results for the nine-month period ended March 31, 2026, reporting a net profit of Rs10.10 billion, while the board decided not to recommend any cash dividend, bonus shares, or right shares.

According to the company’s notification, the Board of Directors met on April 29, 2026, to approve the third-quarter financial results. The board confirmed that shareholders would not receive any interim corporate payout, with cash dividend, bonus shares, right shares, and other corporate actions all declared as NIL.

During the nine months under review, SNGPL posted earnings per share (EPS) of Rs15.92, compared with Rs15.98 in the corresponding period of the previous year, indicating relatively stable profitability despite challenging operating conditions.

For the third quarter alone, the company earned Rs2.93 billion, translating into an EPS of Rs4.62, compared with a quarterly profit of Rs2.39 billion and EPS of Rs3.77 in the same quarter last year. Operating profit for the nine-month period stood at Rs39.54 billion, while profit before tax reached Rs18.19 billion after accounting for the minimum tax differential levy.

SNGPL generated Rs24.13 billion in net cash from operating activities during the reporting period, reflecting continued strength in its core business operations. However, the company also recorded significant investing cash outflows of Rs27.63 billion, largely related to capital expenditure on property, plant, and equipment. Financing activities produced a modest net inflow of Rs1.84 billion, supported by fresh borrowings.

On the balance sheet, the company’s total equity increased to Rs78.84 billion as of March 31, 2026, compared with Rs70.65 billion at the end of June 2025, reflecting retained earnings during the period. Total assets also expanded, supported by investments in infrastructure and operating assets.

The company stated that its complete quarterly report for the period ended March 31, 2026, will be submitted separately through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Reporting System (PUCARS) within the prescribed timeline.
