Karachi: Tata Textile Mills Limited has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting a significant improvement in profitability alongside a final cash dividend for shareholders. The Board of Directors approved the audited financial statements in its meeting held on August 6, 2026, and recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 5 per share (50%). The company also confirmed that no bonus shares, right shares, or any other corporate actions have been proposed.

The textile manufacturer posted a profit after tax of Rs. 3.619 billion, a substantial increase from Rs. 1.113 billion recorded in the previous financial year. Earnings per share (EPS) also climbed sharply to Rs. 64.63, compared with Rs. 19.88 a year earlier, reflecting the company’s stronger financial performance. The improvement was supported by higher operating profitability and increased other income during the year.

Net sales stood at Rs. 39.84 billion, compared with Rs. 41.24 billion in FY2025. Despite the slight decline in revenue, Tata Textile Mills improved its gross profit to Rs. 3.72 billion, up from Rs. 2.29 billion, demonstrating better cost management and operational efficiency. Profit before taxation also increased to Rs. 4.19 billion from Rs. 1.33 billion in the previous year.

On the balance sheet, the company’s total assets were reported at Rs. 55.28 billion, while shareholders’ equity strengthened to Rs. 27.32 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 23.69 billion a year earlier, reflecting the year’s robust earnings.

The company also generated Rs. 5.91 billion in net cash from operating activities during FY2026, marking a significant turnaround from the cash outflow reported in the previous year. This improvement highlights stronger operational cash generation and improved working capital management.

Tata Textile Mills has scheduled its 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 27, 2026, in Karachi. The share transfer books will remain closed from October 20 to October 27, 2026 (both days inclusive) to determine shareholders eligible for the final dividend and participation in the AGM.
