KARACHI: Tata Textile Mills Limited has announced the successful completion of a major modernization initiative at its Muzaffargarh Plant (Unit-M01), marking a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to enhance production efficiency and manufacturing capabilities. The company has also commenced regular operations at the upgraded facility.
In a material information notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on July 6, 2026, Tata Textile Mills stated that it has completed the Balancing, Modernization and Replacement (BMR) project at Mill-01 in Muzaffargarh. The project was undertaken to improve operational performance and expand production capacity.
As part of the upgrade, the company installed state-of-the-art LMW Ring Spinning Machines along with a Temsan Air Conditioning System. These improvements have enhanced the mill’s spindle capacity, in line with the company’s earlier disclosures regarding the modernization plan.
Following the successful completion of the project, the upgraded facility has officially started the regular production of knitting yarn, strengthening Tata Textile Mills’ manufacturing operations and supporting its long-term growth strategy.
The company informed investors that the disclosure was made in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Securities Act, 2015, and the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book, ensuring timely dissemination of material information to the market.
The commencement of operations at the modernized Muzaffargarh unit is expected to improve production efficiency, enhance product quality, and reinforce Tata Textile Mills’ position in Pakistan’s competitive textile industry.
