Trust Modaraba Approves FY2026 Audited Accounts as Profit Reaches Rs11.38 Million
Trust Modaraba, managed by Al-Zamin Modaraba Management (Private) Limited, has approved its annual audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2026.
According to the company’s notification, the Board of Directors approved the audited accounts at its meeting held on September 24, 2026, in Karachi. The financial results provide an overview of the Modaraba’s performance during the year and were submitted for the information of certificate holders.
Profit Declines from Previous Year
The financial statements show that Trust Modaraba recorded a profit after taxation of Rs11.38 million for the year ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs18.39 million in the preceding year.
Profit before taxation stood at approximately Rs14.89 million, compared with Rs23.19 million in the previous year. After taxation of around Rs3.51 million, the Modaraba reported earnings per certificate of Rs0.38, down from Rs0.62 a year earlier.
Assets and Equity Show Growth
Despite the decline in annual profit, the Modaraba’s balance sheet showed an increase in total assets. Total assets stood at approximately Rs405.52 million at June 30, 2026, compared with Rs401.96 million in the previous year.
Net assets increased to approximately Rs360.13 million, compared with Rs348.76 million a year earlier. Certificate holders’ equity also stood at Rs360.13 million at the end of the financial year.
No Dividend or Bonus Shares Recommended
The Board did not recommend a cash dividend for the financial year. The notification also states that there will be no bonus shares, right shares, or other entitlement/corporate action for certificate holders.
The company further reported that there was no other price-sensitive information requiring disclosure in the notification.
Cash Position
The cash flow statement showed that cash and cash equivalents stood at approximately Rs6.86 million at the end of June 2026, compared with Rs9.07 million at the end of June 2025.
The financial statements also show net cash used in investing activities of approximately Rs25.90 million during the year, while financing activities resulted in a net cash outflow of around Rs0.54 million.
The company stated that its annual report will be transmitted through PUCARS at least 21 days before the Annual Review Meeting. The notification was signed by Hamida Aqeel, Company Secretary, on behalf of Trust Modaraba managed by Al-Zamin Modaraba Management (Private) Limited.
