Cordoba Logistics & Ventures Limited (CLVL) reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the nine months ended March 31, 2026, driven by higher revenues and improved operating profitability, according to the company’s latest financial results.

The company posted revenue of Rs20.73 million during the nine-month period, marking a 13.1% increase from Rs18.33 million recorded in the corresponding period last year. Gross profit also rose to Rs15.78 million, compared to Rs13.08 million in the same period of FY25, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and business activity.

Despite the revenue growth, Cordoba Logistics remained in a loss position due to substantial finance costs. The company reported a loss after taxation of Rs37.22 million for 9MFY26, slightly improved from a loss of Rs38.47 million in the same period last year. Loss per share improved marginally to Rs0.52 from Rs0.53 a year earlier.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, revenue surged 24.2% year-on-year to Rs6.56 million, while operating profit increased to Rs2.16 million from Rs1.45 million in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Quarterly loss after tax narrowed to Rs12.27 million compared with Rs14.13 million last year, indicating gradual improvement in underlying operations.

On the balance sheet side, the company’s total assets stood at Rs1.07 billion as of March 31, 2026, broadly stable compared to June 2025. Cash and bank balances rose significantly to Rs12.98 million from Rs0.70 million at the end of the previous fiscal year, strengthening liquidity. Shareholders’ equity, however, declined to Rs429.96 million due to accumulated losses.

The Board of Directors did not recommend any cash dividend, bonus shares, right shares, or any other corporate action alongside the results. Management stated that the interim financial statements for the period would be transmitted through the prescribed regulatory channels within the stipulated timeframe.

While finance costs continue to weigh heavily on profitability, the latest results suggest that Cordoba Logistics is making progress in improving its core business performance, supported by revenue growth and stronger operating margins.
