KARACHI: Imperial Limited has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that its external auditors, M/s. Rizwan & Company, Chartered Accountants, have resigned from their position, effective July 30, 2026. The company disclosed the development through a material information notice in compliance with the Securities Act, 2015, and the PSX Rule Book.

According to the notification, the resignation has created a casual vacancy in the office of the company’s external auditors. Imperial Limited stated that the appointment of a new external audit firm will be finalized after completing the necessary legal and regulatory formalities.

The company assured shareholders and the market that details regarding the new appointment will be communicated to the Pakistan Stock Exchange once the required procedures have been completed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The disclosure was made under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, which requires listed companies to promptly notify the market of material developments that may be relevant to investors. The company also submitted the prescribed disclosure form confirming the resignation and reiterating its commitment to filling the vacancy through the appropriate regulatory process.

At this stage, Imperial Limited has not disclosed the reasons behind the resignation of its external auditors. The company emphasized that a replacement will be appointed in due course, and the market will be updated once the process is complete.
