Rawalpindi, April 24, 2026: Murree Brewery Company Limited has approved the number of directors for its next three-year term and decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) for the election of directors.

According to material information submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company’s Board of Directors met on April 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Rawalpindi and unanimously approved eight directors for the next term of three years, commencing July 27, 2026.

The board also unanimously approved holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on July 22, 2026, to conduct the election of directors. The Company Secretary has been authorized to issue the meeting notice and complete all necessary arrangements for the EOGM.

In preparation for the meeting, the board approved the closure of the company’s Share Transfer Books from July 16 to July 22, 2026, both days inclusive. The book closure period will cover the days leading up to and including the scheduled EOGM.

The latest announcement provides shareholders with the company’s timeline for the upcoming director election and confirms that the board has fixed the number of directors at eight for the forthcoming three-year term.

Murree Brewery, one of Pakistan’s long-established listed companies, has therefore moved ahead with the formal process required for the constitution of its next board. The company advised the TRE Certificate holders of the Pakistan Stock Exchange to take note of the development.
