Karachi, July 27, 2026 – Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (PICT) has announced plans to expand its operations by entering the logistics services business as part of its long-term growth strategy, according to a material information disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The company revealed that its new business initiative will include a comprehensive range of logistics services, such as container delivery from terminals, transportation, cargo handling at container terminals, and last-mile delivery solutions. This strategic expansion is aimed at strengthening PICT’s position in Pakistan’s logistics and supply chain industry while leveraging its extensive operational expertise and infrastructure.
According to the disclosure, the move is aligned with PICT’s future business plan and is intended to capitalize on the company’s existing operational capabilities, industry knowledge, and customer relationships. By offering integrated logistics and container management services, PICT aims to create additional value for its customers while diversifying its revenue streams.
The company stated that the expansion forms a key component of its long-term growth strategy and is expected to complement its core container terminal operations.
