KSB Pumps Company Limited delivered improved financial results for the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, with stronger sales, operating performance and profitability compared with the same period last year.

According to the company’s unaudited financial statements, sales increased to Rs4.31 billion during the first half of 2026, compared with Rs3.32 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. This represents growth of around 30%, reflecting a stronger revenue performance during the period.

The improvement in revenue was accompanied by a substantial increase in gross profit. Gross profit rose to approximately Rs960.2 million, compared with Rs751.0 million a year earlier. Profit from operations also more than doubled to Rs200.6 million, against Rs89.2 million in the first half of 2025.

After accounting for finance costs, levies and taxation, KSB Pumps posted a profit after tax of Rs171.4 million, up from Rs153.6 million in the same period last year. The company’s earnings per share increased to Rs5.55 from Rs4.97, indicating an improvement of about 12% in per-share earnings.

Stronger Operating Cash Flow

The company also recorded a notable improvement in cash generation. Net cash generated from operating activities stood at Rs367.3 million in the first half of 2026, compared with a net cash outflow of Rs43.1 million during the same period of 2025. This turnaround suggests a considerably stronger operating cash position.

KSB Pumps invested approximately Rs241.3 million in capital expenditure, including capital work in progress and intangible assets. Despite this investment, cash and cash equivalents increased to around Rs520.5 million by June 30, 2026, compared with Rs444.4 million at the end of June 2025.

No Interim Dividend Announced

In its August 18, 2026 filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, KSB Pumps said its Board of Directors approved the condensed interim financial statements for the half year ended June 30, 2026. The company announced no interim cash dividend, bonus shares, rights shares or other corporate action alongside the results.

The balance sheet also showed total equity and liabilities of approximately Rs9.56 billion as of June 30, 2026, compared with Rs9.36 billion at December 31, 2025. Revenue reserves increased during the period, supporting the company’s overall equity position.

Overall, KSB Pumps’ first-half results point to a stronger financial performance in 2026, driven primarily by higher sales, improved operating profitability and a significant turnaround in operating cash flows. The increase in earnings per share further indicates that the improved performance translated into stronger returns for shareholders.
