Agriauto Industries Limited has reported an improvement in its consolidated financial performance for the first quarter ended September 30, 2026, supported by higher sales and an increase in gross profit compared with the same period last year.

According to the company’s financial results submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on October 27, 2026, Agriauto Industries recorded consolidated net sales of approximately Rs5.10 billion during the quarter, compared with Rs3.86 billion in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. This represents a significant year-on-year increase in revenue.

The company’s gross profit also increased to approximately Rs798.6 million, up from Rs561.5 million in the same quarter last year. The improvement indicates stronger revenue generation, although the company continued to face operating expenses and taxation costs.

Consolidated Earnings and Per-Share Profit Improve

The company’s consolidated profit after taxation increased to Rs269.7 million for the quarter, compared with Rs192.6 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. This improvement reflects stronger earnings during the reporting period.

Earnings per share (EPS) also increased to Rs7.49 from Rs5.35 a year earlier, highlighting the growth in consolidated profitability.

Despite the increase in earnings, the company continued to manage distribution and marketing expenses, administrative costs, finance costs and taxation, which affected its overall financial results.

Standalone Results Show a Different Trend

While the consolidated results showed growth, Agriauto Industries’ standalone financial statements presented a different picture. The company reported standalone net sales of approximately Rs2.96 billion, compared with Rs2.61 billion in the same quarter last year.

However, standalone profit after taxation declined to approximately Rs49.5 million from Rs194.3 million in the corresponding period. Standalone earnings per share also decreased to Rs1.37 from Rs5.40.

The difference between the consolidated and standalone results highlights the importance of examining both sets of financial statements when assessing the company’s overall performance.

No Dividend Announced

Agriauto Industries’ board of directors did not recommend any cash dividend, bonus shares, rights shares or other corporate benefits for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The financial results were submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange for disclosure to shareholders and investors.

Outlook for Investors

Agriauto Industries’ first-quarter results reflect stronger consolidated revenue and profitability, alongside a decline in standalone earnings. Investors will likely monitor sales trends, operating costs, profitability and demand in the automotive sector to assess whether the improvement in consolidated earnings can be sustained throughout the financial year.

The company’s future performance will depend on its ability to maintain revenue growth, manage costs and navigate conditions affecting the automotive parts and components industry.
