Quice Food Industries Limited has announced the adjournment of its scheduled Annual General Meeting (AGM) following a decision by the Honourable High Court of Sindh at Karachi to continue an interim order restricting the meeting.
According to a public announcement issued by the company, the AGM was scheduled to take place on October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Karachi. The company had previously issued and published notices regarding the meeting in accordance with the Companies Act, 2017, and the relevant regulations of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
However, an interim order dated October 19, 2026, issued by the Sindh High Court had restrained the holding of the AGM until October 27, 2026.
The matter was subsequently fixed before the court on October 28, 2026. During the proceedings, the court continued the earlier interim order. As a result, Quice Food Industries Limited announced that its scheduled AGM would remain adjourned, subject to further directions from the Sindh High Court.
The company stated that it would keep the Pakistan Stock Exchange, its members and shareholders, and the general public informed about further developments in accordance with the directions and orders issued by the court.
The announcement was issued on behalf of Quice Food Industries Limited by its company secretary.
The development is relevant to shareholders and market participants awaiting the company’s AGM, as the meeting’s future arrangements will depend on further directions from the court. The company has not specified a new date for the meeting in the announcement.
Investors and shareholders are advised to monitor official company disclosures and Pakistan Stock Exchange announcements for updates regarding the AGM.
